New Autosend and Partial Send options
What is it?
We’ve upgraded the Autosend and Partial Send functionality in Scale to Win Text by adding new controls and automations to help you drive fundraising ROI.
The upgraded feature adds greater control for setting success criteria, more sending options after the winning variant is chosen, and improved analytics broken down by variant. This new functionality is available for both single- and multiple-message variants.

How can I use Autosend and Partial Sends in my work?
Examples of how to use the upgraded features:
- Test the quality of a newer list by sending to a small portion (e.g., 5,000 contacts), and set up the campaign to continue sending in partial batches of 3,000 at a time, assuming the ROI remains at or above 110%.
- Your organization guarantees a minimum ROI of 100% for clients. You send a message to 3,000 contacts, but the ROI is only 92% after 4 hours, so the campaign pauses and does not send to the full list.
- You are fundraising in response to breaking news and want to send the best-performing message as quickly as possible. Set up your campaign to send to a portion of the list first, then send the remaining contacts to the variant that first reached the minimum ROI and had at least 10 donations.
What are the benefits of the new Autosend and Partial Send options?
- Fundraise quicker and raise more for clients. Get your winning message out faster with the new automations and meet your clients' fundraising goals ahead of schedule. You can scale quicker and efficiently expand the best scripts to your full list incrementally, ultimately raising more dollars overall.
- Save time building campaigns across multiple clients. Easily manage campaigns across your portfolio by setting up parameters in advance and letting the automation do the hard work. Once you build your campaign, set your evaluation criteria and hit send, you're free to work on other tasks or can step away from your phone or computer for the night.
- Ensure guardrails are in place before you send. Take control of your campaigns, even when you aren’t monitoring them in real time. You can set a time limit for when to stop sending a message (e.g., when breaking news is no longer “breaking”), exclude outlier donations from the ROI calculation, or pause a send if your campaign’s ROI starts to dip.

New Audiences filters
What is it?
You can build, manage, and message groups of contacts over time with Audiences. We’ve recently added new ways to filter and target contacts in Audiences based on Engagement with replies and link-click behavior. The new Engagement filters join the existing options for location, donation history, and custom fields.

What are the benefits of the new filters?
- Identify your most engaged supporters and donors. Using the newest Audiences filters, you can create tailored campaigns based on past engagement. For those who haven’t replied to your campaigns or clicked a link yet, reach out with a pulse check. For more invested folks, you can send a new donation ask or follow up with event and volunteer opportunities.
- Save budget. With more targeted campaigns, you can save on your texting budget by ensuring folks receive the right messaging based on their engagement level. This is crucial, especially during GOTV season when voters are receiving an influx of texts.
How are folks already using Audiences?
- Organizing — One voter engagement organization used Audiences to create a single-source-of-truth volunteer list. Regional field organizers at the organization can use the primary list to easily create targeted lists tailored to their unique geographies. By using Audiences, Saved Searches, and filtering, the organization has saved countless hours of work previously spent manually creating lists for each region.
- Fundraising — One digital fundraising firm uses Audiences to create targeted donor lists based on ActBlue donation history and engagement data from past campaigns, all in Scale to Win Text. The organization cross-references crucial data from multiple sources to save time on cutting lists outside the texting tool, resulting in higher-quality outreach lists.
Events
What is it?
You can now create and manage your event details right in Scale to Win Text. With the new Events feature, enter key information just once and reuse it across texting campaigns, initial messages, and response scripts.
Available Event fields include the name, event type, date, time, location, RSVP link, join link, and shift details.

Why should you use Events?
We know how quickly things can change when planning and recruiting for events, and we wanted to make it easier for you to conduct outreach via text. The Events feature means less copying and pasting, fewer manual updates, and more confidence that your team is sharing accurate event information.
Save time and simplify team workflows by managing all Events fields in one place. If details change, simply update the Event from the Events tab so future messaging pulls in the latest information.

Other updates
- Campaign scheduling window update: Users can now schedule campaigns up to 14 days in advance.
- Toll-Free registration form improvement: Users can now save a Toll-Free registration form as a draft before submitting the completed registration.
- Additional filters in the People tab: Clients and Staff can now filter by user role in the People tab at both the Subaccount and Organization Settings levels
